The Neighborhood Club realizes just how special your wedding is to you and your reception will be handled in a most professional and courteous manner.

Several weeks prior to your reception, the Function Coordinator will contact you and set up an appointment for your menu selections. The Function Coordinator will give you a list of items for you to bring the Thursday or Friday before your wedding including a seating chart and wedding particulars. The seating chart will enable you to see how your head table and guest tables will be set up in the Main Ballroom. The wedding particular sheet is a general information sheet of names and formalities which will be given to the Hostess prior to your arrival that day.

When you arrive at the Neighborhood Club, a Hostess will be at the door to greet you and will guide you throughout the reception. You may want to relax for a few minutes, either outdoors or inside in front of the fireplace, before your pictures are taken. During this time, your guests may be enjoying a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres.

The Hostess will, at this time, be coordinating with your Band Leader or D.J. to prepare for your Bridal Announcement. After you have been announced, you may have a Blessing followed by a Toast from the Best Man. You are now ready to enjoy a great meal.

Between the salad and the main course of your dinner, if you chose, the Cake Cutting Ceremony can be done, followed by your First Dance. You may invite your Bridal Party to join you, opening the dance floor to your guests. After dessert, the Bouquet Toss and a few other formalities may be performed. Again, all formalities are coordinated by the Hostess and the Band Leader or D.J.

As you near the end of your reception, the Hostess will escort you to our changing room for you to prepare for your Last Dance and Farewell Circle. After all your good-byes, you will be entering your limousine on your way to a perfect honeymoon.
